ZephCraft implores 400+ custom enchantments not found in Vanilla Minecraft.

Enchantment Types

Vanilla Minecraft 2 types of enchantment. Normal, and Curse. However, our custom enchants expands on this model.
There are 4 types of enchantments on the server.
    Normal
    Curse
    Artifact
    Special

A summary of the types

Normal enchantments are very straightforward. They generally improve and item and make it stronger.
Curse enchantments are also simple. They generally worsen the item and make it weaker.
Artifact enchantments are slightly different. They don't make the item any more powerful - they are purely cosmetic. They work on Elytra, creating a trail behind each wing, on Swords and Axes, spiraling particles around the victim, on Bows, Crossbows and Tridents, creating a particle trail behind the projectile, and on Pickaxes, creating particles when breaking ores. An item can only have one Artifact enchantment on it at the same time.
Special enchantments are like normal enchantments, however they are extremely powerful. To combat this, they are extremely rare and you can only have one special enchantment on any item. This forces players to specialize their items and focus them on a specific trait.

Rarity

A rarity contains several values: The minimum xp level required to get the enchantment from an enchanting table, the percentage chance of getting the enchantment above that level, the percentage chance of a villager having a trade for that enchantment, and the percentage chance for an item in a loot chest to spawn with that enchantment/

Means of obtaining

By default, normal, special, and artifact enchantments are available from Enchanting Tables, Villagers, and Loot Chests. Curse enchantments, by default, are only available from Villagers and Loot Chests, just like in vanilla.
Levels are calculated based on their cost. If you get an enchantment from 1 xp level or 1 emerald, it will probably be a level 1 enchantment. Of course, it is possible to get above this at a low cost but it is rare. This is designed to be as similar to vanilla as possible.
Loot chests will generally contain higher level enchantments. This is also designed to be like vanilla, where enchantments in, for example, and end city will have a relatively high level.
